Founder’s letter: Treasure Valley Pelvic Health is Growing

To the Treasure Valley Pelvic Health community —

I’m thrilled to announce that Treasure Valley Pelvic Health is growing! On September 30, we will be opening our second location just outside downtown Boise.

You’ll be able to find us at the new Boise clinic (2717 W. Bannock Street, #100) — with our own private parking lot! — as well as at our home base in Eagle (775 S. Rivershore Lane, Ste. 220).

At the same time, we’re bringing on two new providers to add more availability to our physical therapists’ schedules. The whole team is delighted to welcome Dr. Makena Mueller, PT, DPT, to our Boise location and Ma’Lady Kynaston, PTA, to our Eagle location.

Dr. Makena will join Drs. Julie Dunn and Emily Verheijen at the Boise location, where we plan to add more providers soon. The Boise clinic will be just as cozy and practical as our Eagle location: We’ll have private rooms to meet with your provider, Pilates and strengthening equipment, and dry needling (coming this winter) to help you on your healing journey.

Drs. Kim Kutzner, Marissa Shupperd, Sarah Khang, PTA Ma’Lady, and I will continue to work out of the Eagle clinic to provide pelvic health physical therapy, dry needling, energy work, and certified Pilates guidance during sessions.

To support our growth, we’ve also been joined by patient care coordinators Monica Silvis and Audrey Hall, who will work out of our Eagle clinic. Patient care coordinator Amanda Brown will move to the Boise clinic, and office manager Kelly Gossard will visit both locations to keep operations running smoothly.

I am so excited to be able to expand our reach for the community. I know our Eagle location can be challenging for some Valley residents to get to, and our new location off the Boise Connector (I-184) will ease the burden for you. Growing our team and service area means we can provide more access to the high-quality care you deserve from our amazing team of physical therapists.

Our expansion and you: What to expect

For current patients: Our front desk staff is transferring patients of Drs. Julie and Emily to the Boise location with the same appointment dates and times. If you would like to transfer to the Boise clinic — or stay at the Eagle location — let the front desk know; we’ll match you with a new provider and get you rescheduled. There are a lot of moving parts, so please extend our team grace as we work through the changes!

For prior patients: If you’ve been considering resuming care and the Boise location is more convenient for you, please let us know when you call to schedule your next appointment.

For all patients: You can stay up-to-date on all your appointments by subscribing to a personalized calendar in your patient portal. If you need to reach our front desk at either location, simply call our main line at (208) 629-1030. From there, you can select which clinic’s staff to speak with.

We appreciate your patience as we navigate this exciting expansion. I’m so grateful to our physical therapists and staff for their hard work to make this growth possible, and to you for your support in making Treasure Valley Pelvic Health a vibrant community. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to us. We’re always here for you.

In health,
Dr. Chelsea
